SYNOPSIS-ENG:
Old, traditional crafts are being replaced by new modern technology. From the
Hand of the Blacksmith that shapes the hooves, to the fully modernised factory. Nowadays
the Production is carried out by the robotized/digitised mechanically arms functioning almost
without human input.
The anvil symbolizes the tradition and I will via video projection of synchronic-mechanical
clockworks upgrading it to a fully modern piece of machinery. Well, small machines with
all their various functions have always fascinated me. Working together in a perfect sync,
creating a bigger mechanical/modern form.
SYNOPSIS-DEU:
Alte, traditionelle Berufe werden durch neue, moderne Technik ersetzt. Von der
Hand des Schmiedes, der Hufeisen schlägt, bis in die moderne Welt. Heutzutage
sind Fabriken robotisiert und funktionieren fast ohne Menschen.
Der Amboss symbolisiert die Tradition und wird mittels Videoprojektion von
mechanischen Teilen zu einer Hülle eines automatisierten Gerätes, zur Moderne.
